BAUMAN, M.Ed., Ph.D.
Dr.
Bauman received his Masters in Education from the University
of Massachusetts and Ph.D. in Health Education from the
University of New Mexico. He is the director of Bauman
College: Holistic Nutrition & Culinary Arts
with distance learning and class room programs in Berkeley,
Penngrove and Santa Cruz, CA and Boulder, CO. Dr. Bauman
has been a ground breaking leader and author in the field
of whole food nutrition for the past 35 years. He developed
the Eating for HealthTM nutrition model,
an effective way to promote optimal health, address life
changing illness and discover the joy of eating fresh,
local, seasonal, organic, natural foods.
Dr. Bauman is the author of Eating for Health: A Guide
to Optimum Health and Vitality, The Recipes and Remedies
for Rejuvenation Cookbook, and Controlling Cancer in our
Community (www.baumancollege.org).
Dr. Bauman is a delightfully wise, practical and inspiring
teacher/mentor, who makes complex nutritional information
easy to digest and assimilate. For the past 23 years Dr.
Bauman has been leading Vitality Fasting Retreats,
wherein participants live in a pristine, natural setting
and enjoy a healing diet of fresh juices, herbal teas,
vital shakes, and mineral broths. Participants will receive
ample rest for rejuvenation while having the opportunity
to engage in yoga, meditation, massage, hiking, colon
cleansing and nutrition education classes. |
