Dr Lester Packer, author of “The Antioxidant
Miracle” states that “It is virtually
impossible to get the optimal amount of antioxidants
through food alone.” Yet, there is major controversy
in the medical literature over the benefits of antioxidant
supplementation. This module examines biologic oxidation
and the fundamental science of antioxidants, providing
a basic understanding of their roles in helping
to maintain health and, importantly, how to evaluate
antioxidant supplement myth from fact. |
