| A health goal
for literally millions of people is to lose weight
and then maintain their weight at that level.
The $89 billion a year weight loss industry is
a testament to the failure of that goal. Simply
providing a “better” weight loss product
does not guarantee compliance or retention of
that individual as a lifetime consumer of a healthy
diet and appropriate good nutritional supplements
for a better quality of life. The purpose of this
course is to provide concise consumer oriented
information that will allow you to share that
information more effectively.

with the Radiology Department of Memorial Medical
Center / Cancer Treatment Center of Tulsa. This
was followed up in 1992 with Dr. Fouts participating
as a lecturer at the Second Multi-disciplinary
Symposium on Cervical Soft Tissue Injury - Identification
and Documentation, Tulsa, OK. In 1996-97, Dr.
Fouts presented both four and eight hour Continuing
Education lectures to the South Central, Iowa,

Direct marketing
and retailing of nutritional products has resulted
in a large industry that is now being strictly
regulated by the “structure/function”
claims rules of the Food and Drug Administration
and the Federal Trade Commission. Switching
information from the old sickness model to the
new Wellness model is not only legally mandated,
it also make good common sense. It is a more
accurate message when we share nutrition information
with health care professionals and others.

| Clicker
Kit |
Description:
This kit condenses Dr. Kaats’ program into
a few tools in a box: the clicker, a lean tracker
(to measure fat), a tape measure, a safety strap
(so as to not lose the clicker), an extra battery
and the checkbook. Perfect to get yourself started
in a weight management program or to give to others
and help them on their way. |
|
 |
| The
Clicker |
Simple
weight management tool, this clicker (pedometer)
is to track your steps throughout the day. This
simple gadget, when used as an awareness tool,
can help in your weight management goals. Does
this sound familiar? I have to lose weight = I
have to go to the gym and work out for an hour
every day and change my entire diet and never
have any fun again in my life! Instead of doing
it all, we do nothing! With this clicker, we can
add a few steps each day. Dr. Kaats explains how
adding a few steps each day can add up pounds
lost at the end of the year! A few steps, a few
simple changes and “something is better
than nothing” will add up to results for
you! |
|
 |
| The
Checkbook |
Rather
than track how you are spending your money, this
checkbook tracks how you are spending your energy!
The size of a checkbook, Dr. Kaats put together
this tracking tool for you to keep on track with
your lifestyle changes. It contains a condensed
version of the Glycemic Index, pages for tracking
your clicks by day, a click equivalent chart i.e.
how many clicks used in bowling or lawn mowing
or dog walking or TV-remote-loss! and also has
explanations of the clicker program. This is great
tool for yourself or to give others as part of
their weight management program. |
